Kaufman Organization

OrganizationIn The PressContact

is a diversified New York-based real estate company active in ownership of commercial and residential property, office leasing, management and acquisitions. Our goal is to maximize value through our expertise in the New York real estate market, which will benefit our partners, customers and clients.

The Kaufman Organization originated in 1909 when Samuel and Fannie Kaufman bought their first investment property at 45 East Broadway on the Lower East Side (now Chinatown) to house their growing garment business. Shortly after, they bought an apartment house on Creston Avenue in the Bronx, which is still owned by the family.

In the 1920's, Mr. Kaufman was one of the visionaries who helped create the current Fashion Center in the West 30's. He developed five properties in the area. Three of those buildings: 212 West 35 Street, 462 and 470 Seventh Avenue remain in the Kaufman portfolio today. The Kaufman Organization has evolved into a fully integrated real estate organization controlling approximately 5 million square feet of commercial, residential and shopping centers throughout the New York metropolitan area. The Kaufman Organization offers complete brokerage services, third-party property management, acquisition advisory and asset management services to institutional clients.
