Alex Woodlief

Biography: Alex is an Acquisitions Associate with Kaufman New Ventures. He is responsible for sourcing new investment opportunities, managing existing relationships and business development initiatives. In his career, Alex has been involved in the underwriting, sale and capital raising for over $2.5-billion of New York City real estate. Prior to joining Kaufman, he was an associate in the capital markets group of Cushman & Wakefield where he focused on middle-market investment sale transactions in Manhattan. Earlier, he raised capital for real estate credit and equity strategies for REIT sponsor American Realty Capital. Prior, he served as Asset Manager for SigEp National Housing, a boutique owner/operator and lender specializing in student housing assets nationwide.
Alex graduated from Northeastern University with a B.S. in Political Science. He is a licensed real estate salesperson in New York and has held his FINRA Series 7 & 63 licenses.
